I designed a logo, promotional material & event products for the International Conference on Paleoceanography. I was inspired by the geological time scale, a chart that shows the classification of the earth layers. Every layer has an exact color, determined by an institute in Paris.

This gave me a perfect patchwork of colors to use in the logo, promotional material and event products, that the scientist that visit the conference would definately recognize. In the visuals you can also recognize the drilling ship that takes the samples form deep down and icons (Dom Tower and Miffy) for the city Utrecht where the conference was held.
